Ball Sports Day & Beach Party – Kicking off Summer with Fun and Energy
For many years, the Foundation "Lëtzebuerger Kannerduerf" has traditionally started the summer holidays with a football tournament. This year, responding to the wishes of children and youth, we offered three workshops: football, volleyball, and basketball. Other sports activities also spontaneously took shape.
Following the sports events—or simply for relaxation—the Ball Sports Day concluded with a joyful beach party featuring water games, tasty treats, and great music. The buffet was well-stocked thanks to contributions from every house, and the men from the workshop grilled delicious specialities.
Fun, laughter, and active play—this is how we begin the summer holidays full of energy and joy.
Rituals and traditions serve as important milestones in the development of children and youth. A shared celebration, where everyone contributes, strengthens the sense of community and fosters social skills.
