Feeling safe
The Grooljer Haus is a residential group with a therapeutic orientation for children and young people from the age of 6.
The stay is limited in time. Whenever possible and appropriate, the work of the staff is aimed at reintegrating the boys into their families or into a less intensive form of care. This requires close cooperation with the parents and, where appropriate, with other professionals.
Taking into account aspects of trauma pedagogy, a highly ritualised and therapeutic daily routine provides important impulses for stabilisation, resource promotion and coping with traumatic experiences.
